What should I do if my order arrives damaged or something is missing?
Please contact us as soon as possible. Photographs of any damaged products or packaging can help us assess what has happened.

2. Delivery and storage
Do you deliver outside the UK?
No. Our online shop currently offers delivery within the United Kingdom only.
How is the cheese packaged?
We use packaging appropriate to the products being sent.
Butter and Gwennon soft cheese are packed in Woolcool insulated packaging. Hard cheeses are normally packed securely in boxes, with additional protective packaging used during particularly hot weather where appropriate.
Do I need to refrigerate my cheese?
Please follow the storage instructions on the label of each product. Products that require refrigeration should be placed in the fridge as soon as possible after delivery.
Can I freeze your butter?
Yes. Our butter can be frozen. Make sure it is suitably wrapped and follow any relevant food-safety guidance.
Can I freeze your cheese?
Storage and freezing suitability can vary between cheeses. We recommend following the instructions on the product packaging or contacting us if you are unsure about a particular cheese.
3. Our cheese
Where is Caws Teifi Cheese made?
Our cheese is made at Glynhynod Farm near Llandysul in Ceredigion, West Wales.
We have been making cheese here since 1982, using traditional cheesemaking skills and carefully sourced milk.

Is all your cheese made with raw milk?
No. Milk treatment varies between products. Each product page provides information about the milk used, so please check the individual product description if you have a preference or need specific information.
Are your products organic?
We previously held organic certification. Our current focus is on the quality of the milk we source and the care taken in making our cheese. Please check individual product information and labelling for any specific certification or organic claims.
Which cheeses are suitable for vegetarians?
Our Halloumi and butter are suitable for vegetarians.
Our other cheeses are made using animal rennet and are therefore not suitable for vegetarians.
If you have a dietary requirement, please check the individual product information or contact us before ordering.

Our products are made using milk. Other ingredients and potential allergens vary by product.
Please check the ingredient and allergen information on each product page and its packaging. If you have an allergy or need further information, contact us before placing an order.
